About the Role

You will support a major financial services organization with broad operations across institutional and corporate banking, wealth management, private client services, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. This contract role is focused on Workday Recruiting and Talent within a large enterprise environment.

Engagement Details

The assignment runs for 10 months, with a possibility of extension or conversion. The pay begins at $84 per hour. The position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and follows a hybrid setup. Business hours are Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will configure Workday Recruiting and Talent modules using finalized business requirements provided by Business Systems Analysts. You will also join discovery and design discussions with Product Owners to understand business needs and automation workflows.

You will present Workday functionality and configuration outcomes to stakeholders, help assess how the tenant is structured, and explain how processes are automated to support business decisions. The role also involves breaking initiatives into Jira stories and tasks, monitoring progress, and helping manage team capacity in an Agile setting.

In addition, you will work closely with BSAs to strengthen documentation and keep requirements aligned, while responding to questions about AI models used in Workday Recruit. Vendor-side configuration is not part of the role.

Experience and Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is required. You should bring at least 2 years of experience as a Business Application Analyst in a financial institution or similarly large enterprise, along with 2 years of practical Workday configuration experience that does not require coding. You also need at least 1 year of direct experience with Workday Recruiting and 2 years of Agile delivery experience using Jira for work tracking.

Familiarity with Workday Talent and its related AI models is important, as is the ability to confidently demo Workday features and explain business process flows. A Workday Pro Certification is required. Experience supporting documentation cycles and refining requirements with BSAs is expected. Knowledge of Paradox and Hired Score is considered an asset.
