Role Overview
This position is responsible for building, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the District Industry Certification quality management system. The role also supports internal and external audits, regulatory compliance, and certification-related activities for the SIN district.
Key Responsibilities
The role covers interpretation of customer, government, industry, and accreditation requirements and turning those into practical processes for district operations. It also involves developing new district quality management systems, maintaining documentation, supporting new facilities, and ensuring readiness for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
The position requires working with certification and accreditation bodies, managing service providers, handling contract and procurement-related tasks, and contributing to cost tracking and spend analysis. It also includes support for after-hours activations when required, plus participation in departmental initiatives, training, budgeting, and compliance activities.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should have a solid understanding of industry and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with certification frameworks such as STP Plus, TradeFIRST, RCAR, BizSAFE, ISO9001, ISO13485, GDPMDS, and CEIV Pharma will be an advantage.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, presentation, computer, and business acumen skills. Analytical thinking, process observation, and data analysis are also important. A positive mindset, resilience under pressure, openness to feedback, independence, teamwork, integrity, and a willingness to support change and improvement are key behavioral traits.
Working Conditions
The job is mainly based in an indoor office setting with a comfortable, temperature-controlled workspace and standard office equipment. It also requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and occasional work in a warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery and moderate noise. Safety procedures and protective gear must be followed when working in such areas.
