Role overview
Landa is hiring a Field Service Engineer to help deliver a strong customer experience for its Nanographic Printing presses. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support to customers, support press performance in the field, and help build long-term relationships with Landa’s expanding client base.
Responsibilities
- Share technical know-how with press operators so they can resolve on-site equipment issues more effectively.
- Bring difficult or unresolved cases to Landa’s global support teams for timely and appropriate handling.
- Use your understanding of press technology to improve machine output and overall productivity.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience supporting products in the graphic arts sector, particularly digital printers or offset presses.
- Inkjet systems experience is considered a plus.
- Strong technical troubleshooting ability with end-to-end problem-solving skills.
- Valid driving licence.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to customer locations 60% to 70% of the time, including overnight travel.
- Ability to perform effectively with limited supervision and remain productive under pressure.
- Strong people skills for working with international customers and internal teams.
- Confident, proactive approach to resolving customer issues within established procedures and policies.
- Self-driven mindset with a continuous desire to learn more about systems, technologies, and products.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
- Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
Additional information
This position involves significant travel across customer sites in Ireland and may require overnight trips. The role also calls for flexibility in working hours and the ability to operate remotely with minimal direct supervision.
