Role Overview
The Financial Operations Associate will support the day-to-day execution of investment product operations. The role focuses on maintaining accuracy in cash and securities movement, documenting processes carefully, and supporting compliance and control requirements. The company operates remotely first, with optional access to office space in Irvine, California.
What You’ll Do
- Support the daily handling of cash and securities transfers tied to the company’s investment products.
- Review customer cash balances regularly to spot unusual changes, shortages, or excesses.
- Collect required data from vendors to keep operations running smoothly.
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure funds are reported and classified correctly.
- Maintain and strengthen documentation for internal control procedures.
- Work with the Investment Operations team to investigate discrepancies and improve existing workflows.
- Take part in special projects aimed at process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Help ensure WORM compliance for FinOp books and records.
- Coordinate with management and teammates on priorities such as new features, infrastructure work, and tool development.
What You’ll Bring

- Approximately 0 to 1+ years of professional experience in financial services, FinTech, or a regulated operations environment.
- A background in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.

Compensation Information
The expected starting base pay for this role is between $65,000 and $70,000 per year. Final compensation may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total package may also include equity grants, discretionary cash bonus awards, and benefits such as medical coverage, financial benefits, retirement benefits, and paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and parental leave. Participation details are shared after an offer is made.

This is an at-will role. The company may change base salary or other discretionary compensation programs at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, team or company performance, and market conditions.
