Platform Lifecycle Engineer - AI Trainer

About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Platform Lifecycle Engineer - AI Trainer to support the advancement of AI systems. As part of the coding group, you will join a large network of more than 100,000 technical professionals spanning front-end, back-end, full-stack, machine learning, and related engineering disciplines who contribute to practical AI progress.

The work combines flexibility with technical challenge. You’ll collaborate with advanced AI models on programming assignments such as crafting and solving complex coding challenges, developing polished applications with rich features, and drawing meaningful conclusions from data analysis and visualization. Your contributions will help improve intelligent systems as they continue to learn and evolve.

Some contributors do this alongside a separate full-time job, while others make it their main focus and choose projects and schedules that match their availability and goals.

How the process works

After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that functions as the selection step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid assignments will be made available through the platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and solve a variety of coding tasks used to train AI models, with a particular focus on Android development.
• Produce well-structured code examples along with clear, detailed explanations.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Share feedback that helps improve future AI model performance.

Skills and qualifications

• Strong command of English at native or bilingual level.
• Preferred hands-on experience with Kotlin.
• Ability to work in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
• Excellent written communication, grammar, and editing skills.
• A bachelor’s degree is required, whether completed or currently in progress.
• Prior background as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.

Compensation and terms

Projects are paid on an hourly basis, beginning at $50 to $100+ per hour, with some assignments offering higher pay. Payment is handled through PayPal, and any currency conversion from USD is managed by PayPal.

This is an independent contractor arrangement, not a traditional employment role. No payment or fee will ever be requested from applicants.

Eligibility
