About the Role

This position is for a Project and Resource Manager based in Germany, working with a partner company that handles all application processes. The role is central to a dynamic, global research operations environment, focusing on efficient coordination to deliver high-quality insights at scale. You will be responsible for managing the allocation of research capacity across multiple ongoing projects, ensuring the correct experts are assigned promptly. Serving as a critical link between Account Management, Customer Success, and Research teams, you will translate incoming requests into structured, actionable workflows. Success in this role hinges on strong prioritization, operational clarity, and the ability to manage competing demands effectively in real-time. Beyond daily planning, you will contribute to system enhancements, manual effort reduction, and automation initiatives, directly impacting delivery speed, team efficiency, and client satisfaction in an international setting.

Accountabilities

• Assess incoming project requests, clarify requirements, and ensure proper intake procedures in collaboration with commercial and research stakeholders.
• Coordinate and assign research talent based on availability, capacity, urgency, and project complexity for multiple concurrent projects.
• Maintain an up-to-date, real-time overview of team bandwidth to ensure balanced workloads and prevent bottlenecks.
• Prioritize and sequence incoming tasks using defined operational criteria, communicating realistic timelines to stakeholders.
• Identify inefficiencies in project workflows and contribute to the ongoing improvement of handover processes and operational frameworks.
• Support the implementation and optimization of automation tools, such as workflow systems and AI solutions, to minimize manual coordination.
• Collaborate with research leadership to enhance operational efficiency and delivery scalability.

Requirements

• Possess 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or resource planning, preferably in market research or a similarly fast-paced sector.
• Demonstrate a strong capacity to manage high volumes of parallel requests while maintaining accuracy, structure, and attention to detail under pressure.
• Exhibit excellent prioritization and decision-making abilities, balancing urgency, complexity, and business impact.
• Possess strong communication skills, capable of aligning and influencing stakeholders across various functions and levels.
• Be confident in making capacity-based decisions and clearly articulating trade-offs when necessary.
• Thrive in dynamic environments with frequently shifting priorities, requiring adaptability.
• Maintain a hands-on, structured, and process-oriented approach with a keen interest in operational improvement.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German is advantageous.
