Role Overview
As the Sales Development Representative for the DACH market, you will report to the Market Development Manager EU and help drive TraceGains’ growth across Europe. Your work will center on creating meaningful early-stage relationships with prospective customers, understanding their business challenges, and supporting long-term engagement in a fast-changing market.
You will be part of a highly collaborative international environment where marketing, product, and sales teams work closely together. Your insights and ideas will contribute directly to go-to-market strategy.
This is a remote role within EMEA, with a preference for candidates based in Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, or Ireland.
What You Will Do
- Research target accounts and uncover opportunities using structured market intelligence methods and tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Demandbase.
- Build account-specific outbound approaches designed for each prospect.
- Set up and qualify meetings that can convert into meaningful pipeline and lasting customer value.
- Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Product teams to sharpen messaging and campaign execution.
- Represent TraceGains at events and webinars as a brand advocate in the DACH region.
- Deepen your knowledge of the industry and product so you can confidently speak with stakeholders in Quality, R&D, Procurement, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
- Contribute experience and insight related to account-based marketing initiatives.
Requirements
The role calls for at least 2 years of experience in MDR/SDR, B2B sales, or marketing, ideally within SaaS or the CPG/food sector. You should have a track record of successful outbound prospecting and winning new business.
Strong communication is essential: German must be native-level or business-fluent, and English should be strong. You should also be comfortable using CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Demandbase, and Outreach.
Occasional travel is required within the DACH region and internationally, around 1–3 days per month.
