Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI-Driven | Node.js & TypeScript)

About the Role

EPAM Systems is looking for a senior software engineer with deep full-stack expertise to help create highly scalable cloud-based applications and contemporary microservices. The role spans backend services, API development, and cloud infrastructure, all within an Agile and DevOps setting.

This position also emphasizes the use of AI-enabled development tools to speed up delivery and raise code quality. You will contribute to microservices architecture, modernization of platforms, and meaningful technology outcomes while collaborating with a global group of specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and support scalable full-stack applications and APIs.
• Implement solutions with TypeScript, Node.js, AWS Serverless services, and Terraform.
• Use AI-assisted engineering practices with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and similar technologies.
• Help advance microservices design, platform modernization, and strong engineering standards.
• Work closely in Agile/Scrum and DevOps teams to enable reliable deployment and integration.

Requirements

• Proven experience building scalable cloud-native software.
• Strong hands-on capability in full-stack development with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Practical knowledge of AWS Serverless patterns and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Experience with AI-led development workflows, modern LLM tools, and generative AI concepts.
• Understanding of MCP servers and AI-supported software development lifecycle practices.
• Working knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Cognito, and ECS.
• Solid grasp of microservices, APIs, and event-driven system design.
