Role overview

This leadership position is responsible for guiding the enterprise technology architecture and application landscape so that it supports current business priorities while remaining scalable for future growth. The role combines strategic direction with hands-on oversight across architecture, application delivery, systems integration, and vendor coordination.

What you will do

• Set direction and provide operational leadership for enterprise architecture, application delivery, and systems integration, ensuring technology choices are aligned with business goals and long-term scalability.
• Direct teams of solution architects and developers to deliver secure, dependable, and high-quality enterprise platforms and services.
• Shape the technology roadmap with a strong business-led approach, placing emphasis on commercial off-the-shelf platforms such as SAP and Workday, while maintaining simplicity, agility, and seamless integration.
• Guide the design, customization, deployment, and ongoing support of enterprise applications, balancing standard solutions with business-specific needs.
• Own the enterprise application strategy across both internally built systems and COTS product lifecycles, including upgrades, support activities, and vendor relationships.
• Provide governance and architectural review for major programs involving cloud adoption, analytics, digital collaboration, automation tools such as RPA and electronic forms, and integration middleware.
• Assess new technologies through evaluations and proof-of-concepts to determine their business fit and potential value.
• Define and uphold technology standards, policies, and best practices that promote secure, efficient, and resilient operations.
• Manage expectations across stakeholders and build strong working relationships with internal business teams and external partners.

Experience and qualifications

• At least 15 years of progressive experience leading enterprise technology functions, with depth in architecture, application development, and system integration across both bespoke and commercial platforms.
• Extensive experience delivering and maintaining large-scale COTS solutions, particularly SAP and Workday, including connections to legacy environments and cloud systems.
• Minimum 10 years in people leadership roles, with responsibility for guiding strong technical teams across architecture, engineering, and support.
• Practical experience with contemporary technology stacks, APIs, and enterprise integration tooling.
• Strong background in program delivery for complex transformation initiatives, ideally gained in a large consulting or systems integration setting.
• Excellent stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Adaptive mindset, strategic judgment, and genuine interest in using technology to create business impact.
