About the Role
J&F Holdings is seeking a skilled Accountant to manage its financial operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial reporting, bookkeeping, budgeting, and tax preparation activities for the Group.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of all financial records and transactions.
- Manage and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring precise account balances and proper recording of financial activities.
- Accurately record and categorize all financial transactions, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other expenditures or income.
- Oversee bank reconciliations and actively monitor cash flow to ensure effective fund management.
- Contribute to the creation and preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track budget adherence and provide detailed variance analysis to inform financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, guaranteeing adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Stay current with evolving tax legislation and regulations to ensure organizational compliance and identify potential tax savings.
- Manage the rent payment process, including receiving tenant payments, issuing receipts, and updating records promptly.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Maintain meticulous records of any bounced cheques and manage necessary follow-ups or updates.
- Keep detailed records of all income and expenses, tracking both incoming and outgoing funds for robust financial management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodic reports.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
