Role Overview
Spait Infotech is looking for an AI/ML Engineer in Ireland to build practical machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions for production use. The role focuses on creating models, preparing data, improving predictions, and working closely with technical and business teams to deliver effective outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Build, train, and implement machine learning models and AI-based solutions.
- Prepare datasets by collecting, cleaning, and transforming data for training and analysis.
- Create and fine-tune predictive and analytical models to improve performance.
- Move trained models into live production environments.
- Track model behavior over time and refresh models when performance drops.
- Work with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to gather needs and turn them into workable solutions.
- Carry out data analysis and feature engineering to strengthen model accuracy.
- Keep up with current progress in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
- Record workflows, model logic, and technical implementations clearly.
Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a similar field.
- Solid Python programming ability.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Working knowledge of deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI concepts.
- Experience using Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation.
- Understanding of SQL and database fundamentals.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- MLOps experience and model deployment knowledge will be considered a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Ireland.
