About the Role
AmpiFire is hiring a mid-level Content Editor to polish and strengthen blog content created through its AI-powered system and by human writers. The role focuses on bringing each piece up to a high editorial standard, with attention to clarity, factual accuracy, structure, voice, and search performance.
What You’ll Do
- Revise and improve content produced by both AI and writers
- Correct common AI-related issues such as repeated phrasing, factual inaccuracies, tone inconsistency, awkward wording, and formatting problems
- Apply SEO fundamentals, including keyword use and strong content organization
- Check product details, statistics, and external claims against authoritative sources
- Work with writers and fellow editors to share clear, practical feedback
- Contribute to better editorial processes and input into content strategy
- Use CMS platforms, preferably WordPress, along with basic HTML when needed
- Keep quality high while handling several tasks and deadlines at once
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a professional editing position, with 3+ years preferred
- Strong editorial instinct and the ability to substantially improve content quality
- Hands-on experience editing AI-generated drafts to publication-ready standards
- Good working knowledge of SEO for content
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Strong written communication skills for giving helpful feedback
- Comfort using CMS tools such as WordPress and Shopify
- Working knowledge of basic HTML
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tools and processes

Compensation
The compensation for this role is USD 2,000 to USD 3,000 per month, depending on experience.
This is a fully remote position offered on a B2B contract basis, which means you will be responsible for managing your own taxes and pension contributions.
