About the role

This opportunity is for a motivated Data Science Intern to support a collaborative, solutions-focused data science team. The position is well suited to someone who enjoys turning data into practical business outcomes and can contribute effectively in a remote setup that aligns with US working hours.

What you'll do

Support the creation and rollout of data-backed approaches that address business challenges.
Work with both structured and unstructured data, including cleaning, preparing, and analyzing datasets.
Assist in developing and testing machine learning models with guidance from senior team members.
Perform exploratory analysis and turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to move projects forward.
Help build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting outputs.
Record processes, methods, and results in a clear and organized manner.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Solid working knowledge of Python, including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, and clustering.
Hands-on familiarity with visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or similar libraries.
Comfortable using SQL and interacting with databases.
Strong analytical ability and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Able to work remotely while overlapping with US time zones.

Preferred background

Exposure to deep learning tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Experience using cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Awareness of applied data science use cases like recommendation systems, NLP, or forecasting.
Prior internship or project exposure in analytics or data science.
Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.

Location and schedule

This is a remote role, but the intern must be available during overlapping US working hours.
