Role overview
We are hiring on behalf of a well-established Asia-focused financial services firm known for producing high-quality equity research and maintaining strong insight across regional markets. Its Singapore team is growing and is looking for an Equity Research Analyst to support the research function.
What you will do
- Take ownership of research coverage for selected mid-cap companies, including new initiation notes, sector or theme-focused deep dives, and regular follow-up updates.
- Maintain active contact with company leadership, market participants, and institutional investors.
- Develop and refresh detailed financial models, carry out channel checks, and perform thorough fundamental analysis.
- Communicate investment views, prepare research publications, and help strengthen the team’s market insight and thought leadership.
- Work in close coordination with colleagues across the region, spanning different sectors and geographies.
Candidate profile
- Approximately 4 to 8 years of experience in equity research, preferably covering Singapore-listed companies or ASEAN markets.
- Strong financial modeling capability and a genuine interest in bottom-up, fundamentals-led research.
- Clear and confident communicator with the ability to present research ideas effectively to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
