Role Overview

The company is hiring an HTML Email Developer for onsite support in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on creating responsive, cross-client email templates and turning approved copy and creative into well-coded English and Arabic email campaigns.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build HTML email and EDM/newsletter templates in both English and Arabic.
• Code emails that adapt smoothly to desktop and mobile screens.
• Develop, test, and refine campaigns across major email clients.
• Translate approved content into responsive HTML email layouts.
• Apply best practices for image handling, typography, spacing, buttons, accessibility, and cross-client consistency.
• Investigate and fix rendering problems in Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, and mobile inboxes.
• Support email QA and testing workflows to ensure reliable delivery.
• Work with clients and internal teams to clarify needs, incorporate feedback, and keep updates moving.
• Use email marketing platforms when needed; prior exposure to ESPs is considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience in HTML email development, including newsletter and EDM production.
• Strong command of HTML/CSS for email, along with practical troubleshooting and templating skills.
• Good understanding of responsive design principles for email across different devices and clients.
• Experience with email campaign testing, QA, and deliverability considerations.
• Knowledge of accessibility requirements for email layouts.
• Familiarity with design handoff tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and maintain consistent quality.
• Clear communication skills for collaborating with designers, marketers, and stakeholders.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Design, or a similar field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Background in HTML email work for marketing campaigns or marketing communications teams is highly valuable.
