Role Summary

The MEP Supervisor will oversee site operations connected to plumbing and fire protection works, including installation, testing, and commissioning activities. This role involves leading technicians, foremen, and subcontractors to maintain workmanship standards and support on-time completion.

Key Duties

Manage daily site execution for plumbing and fire fighting works.
Oversee cold and hot water supply systems.
Supervise drainage, waste, and vent system works.
Handle irrigation system installation activities.
Control fire fighting system works such as sprinklers, standpipes, fire pump rooms, and foam systems.
Monitor hydrostatic pressure testing, pipe flushing, cleaning, fire flow and pressure testing, and drainage testing.
Ensure all work follows approved shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Coordinate pipe routing, equipment placement, supports, sleeves, openings, and related interfaces with other trades.
Track labor productivity and distribute manpower effectively.
Share daily updates on progress, site concerns, manpower position, and material needs with the Project Manager.
Raise material requests based on approved shop drawings.
Confirm that tools, equipment, and machinery are used correctly and safely.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Plumbing, or Fire Fighting Systems. The role calls for 5 to 8 years of practical site experience, ideally gained in Gulf countries. Strong hands-on exposure to plumbing and fire fighting installation is essential, along with the ability to interpret shop drawings and schematics.
