Role overview

We are hiring an n8n Developer to build, improve, and support automated workflows and integrations that help the organization run more efficiently. This position blends workflow automation, API-based integrations, and, where needed, AI-enabled processes. The right candidate will have practical experience with n8n, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API work, along with the ability to connect AI tools into business workflows when required.

What you will do

• Create, refine, and maintain n8n automations that streamline business operations.
• Develop custom nodes and logic using JavaScript or TypeScript whenever the workflow needs more advanced functionality.
• Connect different systems through APIs, including REST, GraphQL, webhooks, and OAuth2-based authentication.
• Introduce generative AI features into automations where relevant, such as using OpenAI or Azure OpenAI.
• Work with internal teams to convert business needs into reliable, scalable workflow solutions.
• Make sure automations remain secure, dependable, and efficient.
• Configure monitoring, logs, and error-handling mechanisms inside n8n.
• Investigate workflow failures and resolve issues quickly.
• Keep accurate documentation for workflows, integrations, and technical logic.
• Assist with deployment, cloud configuration, version control, and ongoing environment updates for n8n.
• Follow company data-protection and security standards in all workflow designs and implementations.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with n8n or comparable automation platforms such as Make or Zapier.
• Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript for workflow logic and node creation.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, authentication methods, and JSON handling.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience deploying solutions with Docker and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a practical approach to solving technical issues.
• Ability to juggle multiple assignments and work with limited supervision.
• Exposure to generative AI platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, or HuggingFace.
• Capability to create AI-driven automations like text generation, summarization, classification, and chat flows.
• Python knowledge is an added advantage, especially for AI-related scripts or model integration.
• Working knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Experience building integrations with SaaS platforms.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline is required.
