Senior User Experience Designer

About the Role

Qatar Charity is seeking a skilled and user-oriented Senior UX/UI Designer to join its Doha team. In this position, you will help shape clear, intuitive digital experiences for websites and mobile apps, with a strong focus on usability, consistency, and supporting business objectives.

The assignment is for 6 months and may be renewed.

Responsibilities

• Build user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that communicate practical design directions.
• Produce polished visual interface designs for both web and mobile experiences.
• Review user activity through analytics platforms such as Google Analytics to identify opportunities for improving the experience.
• Take part in or support user research to better understand user goals, habits, and expectations.
• Create personas and journey maps to represent user needs and pathways.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to deliver strong implementation quality.
• Help create and keep updated a design system that supports consistency across digital products.
• Refine the experience continuously using data findings and user feedback.
• Plan and conduct usability tests, then convert the results into practical design improvements.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 2 to 5 years of experience in UX/UI design or a comparable position.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI work for web and/or mobile products.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written, is mandatory.
• Solid command of UX principles and human-centered design methods.
• Comfort with analytical thinking and making design choices based on data.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
• Experience with design systems and user journey mapping.
• Understanding of usability and accessibility best practices.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar.
• Basic front-end knowledge, especially HTML and CSS, would be an advantage.

Additional Information

This role is based in Doha, Qatar and is a full-time onsite position.

Contract duration: 6 months, renewable.
