Supply Planning Analyst (Temporary Position)

This opening is for a detail-focused Supply Planning Analyst on a 6-month temporary assignment to cover maternity leave. The person in this role will support daily planning work to help make sure components and finished products are available to meet business needs.

The position is based in Manhattan and requires on-site work three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and update component tracking tools to monitor material availability and readiness for production.
• Work closely with Material Planning teams in the U.S. and China to check component progress and resolve supply-related issues.
• Coordinate with vendors to accelerate component delivery and keep a close watch on delayed materials to reduce disruptions.
• Partner with logistics and transportation teams to support on-time movement of components to fillers and turnkey suppliers, and finished goods to distribution centers and warehouses.
• Assist with supply planning by reviewing stock levels, demand forecasts, and replenishment needs.
• Support supplier communication around purchase orders, delivery timelines, and supply limitations.
• Help identify inventory mismatches and collaborate across functions to reconcile differences.
• Assist with inventory transfers among suppliers, fillers, warehouses, and third-party logistics providers.

Qualifications

• Between 1 and 3 years of experience in supply chain, supply planning, demand planning, operations, logistics, or another analytical role.
• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Good organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to juggle several priorities at once.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and outside partners.
• Prior experience in Consumer Packaged Goods is preferred, and beauty industry experience is an added advantage.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $33 to $40 per hour. Final compensation may differ depending on skills, experience, and location.
