This position is for a Technical Program Manager focused on CDN work within a technical infrastructure environment in Dublin. Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
- At least 2 years of program management experience in a cross-functional setting.
- Background in network planning, architecture, or design with a technology or telecommunications company.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in software development, computer science, or a related area, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior work in IP network planning or implementation at an ISP, telecom operator, carrier, or CDN.
- Strong technical aptitude with a solid grasp of networking fundamentals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead several network initiatives at once while balancing competing priorities and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
- Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables for edge capacity delivery work.
- Support growth and performance requirements for on-net CDN devices, GGC, and peering through effective project execution.
- Spot, evaluate, and manage risks such as hardware delays, site access problems, power limitations, and upgrade-related disruptions.
- Align project execution with broader organizational strategy and objectives.
- Improve processes, help drive cross-functional change, scale operational practices, and contribute to process design and automation efforts.
