Role Overview
Epicor is looking for a Territory Manager to oversee a defined sales area, which may be organized by territory, vertical market, or geography. The role focuses on building pipeline, advancing qualified opportunities, and supporting revenue growth through coordinated sales activity and strong customer engagement.
Key Duties
- Own and manage an assigned territory, industry segment, or geographic region.
- Screen and qualify opportunities to expand the number and quality of leads.
- Design and execute sales campaigns to support business growth.
- Work closely with solution sales and professional services teams.
- Contribute ideas and take part in marketing initiatives and events.
- Learn and interpret the business needs of prospects and current customers.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts in a timely manner.
- Track and manage the short-term and mid-term pipeline.
- Maintain relationships with third-party partners.
- Keep CRM records current and complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly territory reports.
- Be prepared for some travel as part of sales coverage and customer support.
Skills and Experience
The position calls for a strong sales history, including success selling to business, technical, and IT stakeholders at multiple levels. Experience with enterprise business applications such as ERP, supply chain, and CRM is important, and prior exposure to ERP markets is preferred. The ideal candidate can quickly assess opportunities, identify strategic positioning for new projects, and build trusted relationships with senior leaders in target accounts.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience with proven achievement and applied knowledge.
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
