Role overview
The TIQ (Technical, Integrity & Quality) & Performance Representative supports the business by strengthening technical quality, integrity, and operational performance across Bureau Veritas Qatar. The position is designed to improve client experience while safeguarding the company’s LTO portfolio, brand reputation, image, and assets. Acting as the local owner of the TIQ framework, this role ensures consistent application of quality and technical standards across business lines and supplies the performance reporting and analysis needed for informed leadership decisions. It is a highly collaborative position that works closely with business and product line leaders, operations teams, and the regional TIQ function.
Technical, Integrity & Quality responsibilities
- Serve as the local point of contact for the TIQ framework and make sure technical quality and integrity requirements are applied across all Qatar business lines.
- Coordinate internal surveillance audits and accreditation activities, tracking findings and corrective actions through to closure.
- Help ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas Group quality procedures, accreditation body expectations, and relevant international standards.
- Keep quality documentation and integrity registers current, accurate, and ready for audit review.
- Work with the area TIQ function so local practices remain aligned with Group and regional expectations.
- Compile and submit TIQ performance reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis, covering management system performance, audit outcomes, risks, opportunities, and KPIs.
- Review, combine, and validate TIQ performance data across entities, maintaining consistency and accuracy.
- Oversee the license-to-operate portfolio and ensure the LTO database remains updated.
Performance management and reporting
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze operational and performance data across business and product lines to create accurate and timely reports and dashboards.
- Develop KPI reports and presentations for leadership and business reviews, emphasizing trends, risk areas, and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with business and product line leaders to make sure performance information is delivered correctly and within deadlines.
- Spot performance shortfalls and assist in planning and monitoring corrective improvement actions.
- Support business review processes, management reporting routines, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder coordination and process support
- Develop strong working relationships with operations, technical, and leadership teams to secure engagement and prompt input.
- Assist with standardizing processes and implementing Group and regional initiatives within the Qatar operation.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and support to the TIQ Manager and local leadership whenever needed.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business, or a similar discipline is required. The role calls for 3 to 5 years of experience in quality, technical coordination, performance, or operations support, ideally within a Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) or industrial services setting. Working knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17020, and ISO/IEC 17065 is strongly preferred. Candidates should also have solid data analysis and reporting capability, advanced Excel skills, familiarity with reporting tools, and experience preparing reports and presentations for management audiences.

- Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working with limited supervision.
- Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is an added advantage.
