Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Ajman involves operating waterjet cutting equipment to process ceramic materials in line with drawings and production specifications. The role centers on machine setup, material loading, parameter selection, calibration, and monitoring to ensure precise cuts with low material loss. The operator will also check completed pieces, carry out basic upkeep, flag equipment concerns to supervisors, and support safe, efficient production workflows.

Key Duties

The selected candidate will prepare and run waterjet machines for ceramic cutting operations, interpret technical documentation, and adjust machine settings as needed. The job includes feeding materials into the equipment, verifying cut accuracy, inspecting finished parts for quality, handling routine maintenance tasks, and helping minimize downtime by reporting faults early. Maintaining safety standards, keeping the work area orderly, and coordinating with the production team to meet schedule and quality goals are also important parts of the role.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have hands-on experience with CNC or waterjet cutting systems, along with familiarity with machine setup and calibration basics. The role requires the ability to read technical drawings, measurements, and work orders, plus a strong understanding of industrial safety and protective equipment use. Candidates should bring good attention to detail, the ability to perform visual and dimensional checks, basic mechanical aptitude, and the confidence to troubleshoot small equipment problems. Experience in ceramics, stone, glass, or similar material processing is beneficial. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and vocational or technical training in machining or manufacturing is an added advantage.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Ajman, Ajman Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The position requires working in a fast-paced production setting with limited supervision and a focus on quality, safety, and timely output.
