Batchman

Role overview

Quikrete is hiring a Batchman for its Smyrna, Georgia plant. In this position, you will help run day-to-day plant activities and support efficient, cost-conscious output of both wet and dry batch products.

What the job involves

• Keeping daily production on track for wet and dry batch materials.
• Handling stock control, aligning work schedules, and arranging purchases of supplies, parts, and raw inputs.
• Carrying out plant checks, along with repair and maintenance tasks.

Candidate profile

The company is looking for someone with a high school diploma or GED, plus at least 1 year of experience in an industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing setting. Prior use of mobile equipment such as forklifts is also needed. Strong organization and clear spoken and written communication skills are important.
