About the Role
One&Only Resorts is hiring a Bellman for One&Only The Palm in Dubai. The role sits within a luxury beachfront resort environment and focuses on delivering smooth guest arrival and departure experiences, handling luggage with accuracy, supporting front-of-house traffic flow, and adding a warm, proactive touch to every guest interaction.
The position is part of a guest experience team that values anticipation, precision, empathy, and genuine hospitality. The Bellman will support the wider Front Office operation and help create memorable stays through attentive service, product awareness, and thoughtful coordination.
What You Will Do
- Follow hotel policies, service standards, and operational procedures at all times.
- Stay fully informed about emergency protocols and safety practices.
- Maintain grooming, presentation, and professional body language in line with hotel standards.
- Build strong product knowledge to identify opportunities to increase revenue and promote hotel offerings.
- Work respectfully with internal teams and external guests to sustain positive working relationships.
- Welcome guests on arrival and provide a polished first impression at the porte cochere.
- Receive, transport, store, and retrieve incoming and outgoing luggage accurately.
- Make sure luggage is tagged correctly and all required details are recorded.
- Confirm the correct number of bags is loaded into the vehicle before guest departure.
- Use guest names consistently and professionally during interactions.
- Help maintain a smooth flow of vehicles and people at the entrance area.
- Remain visible in the lobby and support the Front Office team whenever needed.
- Escort guests to rooms and provide an in-room orientation when required.
- Assist with arranging hotel limousines and booking taxis for guests.
- Report any damaged equipment and follow up on items sent for repair.
- Encourage guest engagement and invite feedback about their stay.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role within an upscale luxury hospitality setting or a five-star hotel.
- Background in customer service and reservations.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Fluency in either Russian or Arabic is mandatory.
- Additional language skills will be considered an advantage.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with relevant software and the Opera system.
- Middle East or GCC experience is an advantage.
- Must be able to maintain a polished presentation and professional demeanor consistently.
