About the role

Pepperstone is hiring a Business Process & Value Analyst to join the business at a time of increased investment in data science, AI and emerging technologies. This position sits between business and technology, with a focus on finding ways to improve operations and turning those opportunities into scalable solutions that create measurable commercial outcomes. The role is also central to how AI and automation are introduced and used across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Review and map end-to-end business processes to uncover automation and optimisation opportunities.
• Work with teams across the organisation to identify issues, understand operational pain points and shape improvement ideas.
• Develop strong business cases with clear ROI and financial analysis to help determine which initiatives should be prioritised.
• Collaborate with data, AI and engineering specialists to move solutions into production environments.
• Support change management activities and encourage adoption across business areas.
• Set measurable success indicators and monitor value delivered after implementation.
• Make sure solutions meet governance, risk and compliance standards.

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in a Business Process Analyst, Value Analyst, Operations Analyst or comparable role.
• Hands-on experience in AI integration, automation, process redesign or digital transformation work, including managing change related to those efforts.
• A demonstrated history of delivering cost savings, efficiency gains and initiatives tied to ROI.
• Exposure to AI/ML projects or implementations is preferred.
• Experience with tools such as DBT, Tableau, Lucidchart, Jira or Salesforce is advantageous.
• Strong ability in cost-benefit analysis, ROI modelling, financial impact assessment and business case preparation.
• Good analytical capability using SQL or Python for database work, data wrangling and analysis, along with understanding of statistical modelling.
• Ability to turn analysis into practical recommendations through clear reporting and visual communication.
• Familiarity with process improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML ideas and how they are applied in business settings.
• Professional certifications or training in Six Sigma, Lean, PMP or change management would be an added advantage.
