Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Devonport, Tasmania, where the Client Services Officer will serve as a key contact for bookkeeping and accounting clients. The role centers on providing responsive support, handling incoming enquiries, tracking outstanding items, and making sure matters are followed through promptly.
You will work closely with bookkeeping and accounting staff to collect information, arrange meetings, and help ensure client deliverables are correct, complete, and delivered on schedule. The job also includes maintaining client records, drafting and sending communications, assisting with new client onboarding, and carrying out everyday administrative duties that improve the client experience.
Key duties
- Act as a main contact point for clients and respond to their questions and requests in a timely manner.
- Track open items and coordinate follow-up so client matters are resolved without unnecessary delays.
- Work with internal team members to gather information and support the completion of client work.
- Arrange meetings and help keep communication flowing between clients and the team.
- Keep client records accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and send client communications and routine correspondence.
- Support onboarding activities for new clients.
- Assist with general administrative tasks that contribute to a smooth and professional service experience.
Qualifications and work style

- Ability to work on-site in Devonport, Tasmania, collaborate in a small team, and protect confidential client information.
