Role summary
This is a full-time remote Community Manager position for a client of Hire Feed, open to candidates working from anywhere in Nigeria. The pay is competitive and will be determined by the candidate’s experience. The role is focused on growing and supporting online communities, increasing engagement, and improving the overall member experience.
What you will do
- Keep community spaces well-moderated so conversations remain respectful, productive, and on track.
- Plan and roll out engagement initiatives that encourage more participation and longer member retention.
- Produce, curate, and distribute content that sparks discussion and helps build stronger connections.
- Track community activity and health indicators, then share insights and engagement trends in reports.
- Work closely with product and marketing teams to make sure community efforts support wider business objectives.
What is needed
- Prior experience handling online communities or managing social media channels is mandatory.
- Strong English writing and speaking skills are needed to communicate clearly and create engaging interactions.
- You should be able to review engagement data and adjust community plans based on what the numbers show.
- Familiarity with community management platforms and related tools is important.
- You must be able to resolve conflicts and address issues within the community in a practical way.
