Data Analyst

Role overview

This position is centered on using advanced analytics, modeling, and algorithmic techniques along with visualization tools and data warehouses to turn data into actionable business insight. The role has a strong strategic dimension, supporting the scaling of business process models from zone-level operations to headquarters-level processes while resolving business-focused analytical problems, improving reporting clarity, and uncovering new opportunities through data.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, prepare, and clean data from multiple systems across the IT landscape so it is ready for analysis.
• Work with large datasets to spot trends, patterns, and insights that support planning and data-processing strategy.
• Apply statistical methods and predictive modeling within business intelligence platforms to inform business decisions.
• Build clear, visually appealing dashboards and reports that make complex information easy to understand.
• Partner with teams across Marketing, Sales, Order-to-Cash, Service Operations, and IT data engineering/architecture to advance strategic goals.
• Maintain data accuracy and reliability throughout analytical work and share observations with data governance teams.
• Use analytical findings to support the standardization of global processes and align them with intended workflows and software template design.
• Share insights, conclusions, and recommendations with senior leadership to support decision-making.
• Identify additional data needs, incorporate new data sources, and work with data architects to preserve quality and accessibility.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouses, databases, and visualization tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python, plus a solid understanding of databases and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with OTC and FI processes in Siemens Healthineers is preferred; otherwise, exposure to healthcare or another relevant industry is acceptable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good project management ability.
• Analytics certifications are considered an advantage.
• Practical expertise in data visualization platforms and analytical methods.
