Role overview

The organization is looking for a Data Scientist in Bengaluru to work on AI and machine learning solutions, including predictive modeling, advanced NLP use cases, and modern LLM-based applications. The role requires practical delivery across the full model lifecycle, from data preparation through deployment and ongoing scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and apply supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques for real-world AI/ML initiatives.
• Develop deep learning solutions and work on NLP and LLM-based use cases.
• Handle the end-to-end predictive modeling workflow, including exploratory analysis, data cleaning, feature engineering, model training, validation, operationalization, and scaling.
• Design and support experimentation frameworks, including hypothesis testing and measurement approaches.
• Work on fine-tuning large language models, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation applications, vector databases, and transformer-based architectures.
• Use Python and SQL for development and analysis, and work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Present technical and research outcomes clearly to different stakeholder groups.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand needs and deliver AI/ML solutions that address them.

Required skills and experience

• Practical experience across AI/ML projects.
• Strong understanding of machine learning model development and validation.
• Hands-on exposure to deep learning, NLP, and LLM workflows.
• Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, and transformer architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure.
• Ability to explain technical concepts and findings to varied audiences.

Good-to-have exposure

Experience with AI-focused tools such as PyTorch, LangChain, and LangGraph is preferred. Familiarity with agentic AI concepts such as autonomous planning, reasoning, and multi-step task execution is also beneficial, along with the ability to test and deploy AI agents for automating routine work.

Compensation

The stated stipend/salary range is INR 20,00,000 to INR 30,00,000 per year.
