Role overview
Stena Line is looking for Deck Ratings to join its fleet teams across several routes. This opportunity offers the chance to build new skills while supporting day-to-day deck operations in a safety-focused maritime environment.
The role is based on the Irish Sea fleet and involves working across the Cairnryan to Belfast, Holyhead to Dublin, and Rosslare to Fishguard routes.
What you will do
- Support safe and smooth deck activities such as mooring, loading and unloading, and general upkeep, working under the direction of the chief officers.
- Take part in emergency assignments, watchkeeping, fire and safety patrols, and training activities.

Profile and working style

Qualifications
- English fluency is required.
- Able Seafarer Deck Certificate of Competency (II/5) is required.
- Complete STCW certification and ENG1 medical clearance are required.
- Training in Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats is required.
- Prior experience on passenger vessels is an advantage.
