Role overview
We are looking for a highly organized Document Control Coordinator to support document control, change management, training records, and quality system documentation in a regulated medical device setting. The position is centered on preserving the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of controlled documents while working closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory teams.
This role suits someone who enjoys structured work, process coordination, and quality-driven environments where precision matters.
Compensation and benefits
The hourly pay range for this role is $26 to $32, depending on experience.

Key duties
- Route newly created and updated documents through the document control and change management workflow.
- Check change orders and related supporting files to confirm they are complete and accurate.
- Issue controlled documents only after the necessary approvals have been secured.
- Keep employee training records and training databases up to date.
- Confirm that all required training is finished before a document is released.
- Maintain standards databases and controlled documentation used by the quality system.
- Ensure the latest document versions are available and distributed where they are used.
- File outdated documents and quality records according to company procedures.
- Maintain training records, inspection records, job descriptions, and other controlled files.
- Assist with ongoing quality system and compliance-related activities.
- Handle confidential and proprietary information carefully and discreetly.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma; an associate degree is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in document control, records management, or a similar administrative quality role is required.
Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals is preferred. Prior exposure to document control or change management systems, along with experience maintaining databases and controlled records, is expected.
Candidates should have a basic grasp of quality systems and regulatory requirements, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe tools. Strong attention to detail, excellent organization, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to learn new software quickly are also important.
