This opportunity is with an established concrete construction company founded in 1990. The business has built long-term relationships with clients and has completed a wide range of concrete construction work across residential, municipal, commercial, and industrial projects.

The organization is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Equipment Coordinator to help manage fleet activity and equipment operations. The role focuses on keeping assets maintained, available, tracked, and used efficiently across multiple job sites.

Core responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day coordination of fleet assets, including fuel distribution, consumable inventory, and restocking needs for field operations
• Use fleet tracking tools to monitor equipment location, utilization, and maintenance timing so service work stays on schedule
• Help coordinate maintenance by finding parts, arranging repairs, and overseeing service jobs from start to finish
• Keep complete and accurate records for registrations, inspections, and newly added equipment to support compliance
• Work with field teams to prioritize maintenance tasks based on project timelines and operational needs
• Monitor equipment use, attachments, and rentals to control costs and ensure timely returns
• Review equipment performance to spot underused or expensive assets and suggest replacements or improvements when needed
• Liaise with vendors for quotes, repair coordination, and cost management on fleet-related spend
• Prepare recurring reports on fleet activity, performance data, and inconsistencies to support decision-making
• Keep shop and yard areas safe, tidy, and well organized
• Contribute to process improvements that strengthen reliability, efficiency, and overall fleet performance
• Carry out regular checks of equipment condition, inspections, and adherence to company standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting fleet, equipment, or operations functions in construction, logistics, or a similar setting
• Strong ability to stay organized and juggle multiple priorities in a busy environment
• Comfort with fleet tracking platforms, maintenance coordination, and vendor interaction
• Solid spreadsheet and data-management skills for reporting and analysis
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with different teams

This role is based in Texarkana, TX and is on-site. The position is full-time.
