Executive - Air Freight

AIT Worldwide Logistics is looking for an Air Freight Executive in Dubai to support its UAE export and import freight forwarding activities. The role is centered on delivering dependable operations, smooth shipment execution, and a premium customer experience.

Role overview

This position handles the daily coordination of international air freight shipments moving into and out of the UAE, based on customer requirements. Success in the role depends on operational accuracy, service quality, and the ability to keep shipments moving efficiently.

Key responsibilities

You will oversee air freight operations for the energy sector, working to ensure cargo is managed efficiently and shipments are delivered on time. The role involves building strong working relationships with customers, airlines, vendors, and other stakeholders, while also resolving operational issues before they affect service.

You will partner with internal teams to meet operational KPIs, customer satisfaction goals, and broader business targets. The job also includes cost control, vendor coordination, billing accuracy, revenue capture, and compliant cost booking. In addition, you will negotiate rates and space with airlines and logistics partners and maintain compliance with aviation, customs, safety, regulatory, and company requirements.

Qualifications and expectations

Required background

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or an equivalent field is required. The role calls for 2 to 4 years of results-oriented experience in complex supply chains or air freight operations, including at least 2 years in the UAE market.

Applicants should understand international logistics, Incoterms, carrier contracts, and rate structures. Experience with coordination, stakeholder management, and logistics systems such as CargoWise or similar platforms is also expected.
