Foreman (m/f/d)

Role overview

This position is focused on supervising the assembly and installation of media supply systems. The work also includes welding and bonding activities carried out in line with applicable rules and technical standards. The role involves cleanroom work, pipe bending, assembling media cabinets, and moving materials as required.

Key duties

• Install and assemble media supply systems for ultrapure water, ultrapure gases, chemicals, process vacuum, and similar media.
• Carry out welding operations depending on certification and applicable regulations, including orbital, manual, butt, socket, and electrofusion welding.
• Produce and fit components such as pipe bends, media cabinets, media distributors, and brackets.
• Work in cleanroom environments while following the relevant standards and procedural rules.
• Handle materials and preparation work, including transporting materials, preparing weld samples, and performing bonding tasks.
• Observe safety, welding, and quality requirements, including DGUV rules and cleanroom specifications.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate has completed vocational training in a technical trade, such as plant fitting, plant mechanics, or sanitary, heating, and air conditioning technology. Practical knowledge of plant construction, solid technical understanding, and strong spatial awareness are important. You should be able to read technical drawings with confidence, have good German language skills, and ideally also have English skills. Experience with welding, especially orbital welding, and with pipeline fabrication and assembly is valued; welding certifications are an added advantage. A category B driving licence and willingness to travel within Germany are required.
