About the role
Flynn Group of Companies is looking for a Future Workplace Specialist to help unlock the value of AI across its business applications. In this role, you will guide teams in understanding and using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, simplify day-to-day work, and support new ideas and ways of working. You will serve as a bridge between technology and business users by providing guidance, training, and ongoing improvement support.
This position sits within the IT department and reports to the Director, Applications.
What you'll do
- Explore AI tools and features across enterprise systems such as Bluebeam, Autodesk, project management platforms, field applications, Microsoft 365, OpenAI, and other industry-specific software.
- Keep track of AI developments and judge how relevant they are to internal business needs.
- Work with IT and business leaders to shape strategies for bringing AI into everyday workflows.
- Build future workplace roadmaps that align with company objectives.
- Design training materials, tutorials, workshops, and lunch-and-learn sessions that help employees make the most of AI tools.
- Support teams adopting AI-based processes and automation as a trusted advisor.
- Promote experimentation and a culture of innovation across departments.
- Bring fresh perspectives that help teams rethink problems and improve creative decision-making.
- Track adoption, collect user feedback, and refine strategies to improve productivity and collaboration.
- Work with stakeholders across departments to understand workflows, pain points, and business priorities.
- Use active listening and consultative questioning to uncover needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in modern workplace enablement, with strong awareness of digital workplace trends and emerging technologies.
- Hands-on familiarity with Bluebeam, Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, and BIM 360, project management tools like Procore, field applications such as PlanGrid, Fieldwire, and Plaud, as well as Microsoft 365.
- Exposure to Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps, along with experience integrating AI into workflows, is an advantage.
- Strong emotional intelligence, listening ability, facilitation skills, and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to influence others effectively.
- Capability to turn business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
