General Labourer

Role Overview

Fidelity Manufacturing is seeking a dependable General Labourer to assist with building upkeep and materials preparation within a manufacturing setting. The position is hands-on and includes routine support work, basic maintenance, and helping ready materials for production.

Key Duties

• Carry out regular upkeep tasks for building systems and grounds equipment.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly inspection checks on cranes, forklifts, and compressors.
• Keep the shop area clean and organized.
• Accompany contractors on site when needed.
• Transport materials and completed parts throughout the shop as required.
• Operate a band saw to cut material according to required specifications.
• Remove burrs and carry out finishing work on completed components.
• Clean, prepare, and package finished parts.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school completion or an equivalent level of education is required.
• This role requires participation in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening.

Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
• Previous work in a manufacturing environment is considered an advantage.

Working Hours

• Shift hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
