About the Role
This position is with E2 Optics, an award-winning woman-owned technology integrator operating in the data center space. What You Will Do
- Put safety first by following all safe work practices and complying with company and client site safety rules.
- Support the organization’s core values and help strengthen a family-oriented workplace culture.
- Help with onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork and orientation coordination.
- Serve as a backup resource for running new hire orientation sessions.
- Keep employee files accurate and protect sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- Support compliance with internal policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist the HR Generalist with performance management activities and employee relations issues.
- Prepare HR reports and related documentation when needed.
- Help connect employees and leadership on HR policies and procedures.
- Take part in HR initiatives and projects that contribute to a positive workplace environment.
- Be willing to travel as needed for the role.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- At least 2 years of administrative support experience.
- Working knowledge of human resources policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with employment and labor laws.
- Strong leadership, communication, influence, and teamwork skills.
- Good judgment, conflict-resolution ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with managers, employees, and outside parties in a professional and tactful manner.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organization.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The role is based in an indoor office and construction setting with a generally moderate noise level. It involves sitting, using hands and arms, speaking clearly, and occasional stooping or kneeling. Standing and walking are frequent. The position also requires regular lifting and moving of up to 40 pounds, frequent lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds, carrying and climbing ladders up to 20 feet, and the ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs if needed.
