About The Role
The Human Resources Coordinator at Slipstream is integral to the HR department's administrative functions. This role involves providing comprehensive support to the HR Lead, encompassing the meticulous maintenance of employee records, the efficient management of onboarding procedures, assistance with payroll operations, and day-to-day administrative support for all staff. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion. This position serves as a primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, ensuring seamless communication and effective HR operations. Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or a minimum of 3-5 years of pertinent professional experience.
- A thorough understanding of HR functions and current industry best practices.
- Strong analytical capabilities, coupled with proficiency in Outlook, MS Office Suite, and other relevant communication tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Capacity to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Proficient verbal and written communication abilities.
- Skill in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and adhering to deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Address all internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests from employees and management.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires within the HRIS, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Conduct orientation sessions for all newly hired W2 employees, providing essential information and support.
- Maintain precise and compliant digital records of employee data in line with federal regulations.
- Execute I9/E-Verify procedures and conduct background checks for all new W2 employees.
- Support the performance management cycle, including tracking performance reviews and development plans.
- Collaborate with HR team members to enhance HR procedures and documentation.
- Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely data input.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and foster positive employee relations.
