About the Internship
This internship offers a results-focused sales experience where success is gauged by actual bookings and revenue rather than just chat activity or responsiveness. The position involves exclusively text-based communication — there are no cold calls or field visits, only consultative selling conducted through chat platforms such as WhatsApp and the company's in-app chat system. It presents an excellent opportunity for beginners to develop foundational sales, negotiation, and travel industry skills in a low-stress environment without phone interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming customer conversations in real time, understanding their travel needs, budget constraints, and preferences to suggest suitable vacation packages.
- Convert chat discussions into confirmed reservations by skillfully handling objections, providing itinerary information, and closing deals.
- Engage in follow-ups with warm leads and previous inquiries, encouraging them toward purchase decisions—all via text without voice calls.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses excellent written communication skills that are clear, persuasive, and free from errors even under time pressure.
- Capable of multitasking effectively across several active chat sessions, while maintaining accuracy regarding pricing, destinations, and itinerary specifics.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, comfortable working towards sales targets even if lacking prior sales experience.
