Junior Video Editor

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and creatively driven Video Editor to become part of a rapidly growing digital marketing team in Kochi. This role is suited to someone who can turn ideas into polished visual stories for branding, advertising, and social media use.

What You Will Do

• Create and refine high-quality video content for social media, paid ads, and campaign marketing.
• Work closely with content, design, and strategy teams to convert concepts into finished visuals.
• Develop short-form, UGC-inspired, and vertical videos tailored for different platforms.
• Enhance videos with motion graphics, transitions, effects, and sound treatment to improve storytelling.
• Handle several assignments at once while keeping up with fast turnaround expectations.
• Keep pace with emerging video formats, editing tools, and social media trends.

Candidate Profile

The preferred applicant has 1 to 2 years of experience in video editing, ideally in a digital agency setting. Strong hands-on knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, is expected. Exposure to AI-based tools for editing, animation, or image generation such as Runway and Midjourney will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, and similar modern editing tools is also useful. The role calls for someone with strong time management, the ability to manage multiple priorities, attention to detail, creativity, and a collaborative approach.
