Role overview
This position sits within Corporate Communications for the Department of Children and Families in Darwin. The role is responsible for leading the organisation’s media operations across both planned and responsive work, while advising clients and senior leaders on media strategy and direction.
Key duties
You will work directly with Ministers’ Offices to handle sensitive and reputational matters, spot opportunities for positive media coverage, and coordinate forecasting and reporting for upcoming activity. The role also involves maintaining strong standards across media output through careful editing, writing, and quality assurance.
