Role overview
This night-shift packing role is centered on keeping packaging activities running smoothly, safely, and in line with quality and compliance expectations in a manufacturing setting.
Key duties
- Keep the work area tidy, orderly, and ready for the end of each shift.
- Work in a safe manner and comply with all health, safety, and environmental rules for the plant and department.
- Log safety issues and observations through the Eachieve system.
- Adhere to the latest departmental SOPs as well as cGMP standards.
- Complete all mandatory cGMP and safety training in the ELMS system.
- Carry out packaging work so products are prepared and dispatched on time, with all required records completed accurately.
- Prepare packaging lines by setting up and clearing equipment and machinery in accordance with SOP and cGMP requirements.
- Identify and report equipment problems, and partner with Maintenance Technicians to make mechanical adjustments that help reduce stoppages and quality defects.
- Run and supervise computerized production equipment while maintaining strong quality standards.
Qualifications
The role requires a Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
