Pega Developer / Lead

Role overview

HCLTech is looking for a Pega Developer / Lead for its Nagpur location. The role suits professionals with 5 to 10 years of experience who can work independently on Pega use cases and deliver application features with limited supervision.

Core technical expectations

• Hold PEGA CSSA certification.
• Have a solid grasp of current Pega architecture, including enterprise class design, the application layer structure, data modeling, and rule resolution behavior.
• Be comfortable working with case management concepts, flow design, data pages, and log analysis.
• Understand background processing tools such as job schedulers and queue processors.
• Be hands-on with data models, user interfaces, reports, data pages, data transforms, case types, data types, declarative rules, and integration connectors.

Responsibilities

• Implement Pega use cases independently without requiring extra guidance.
• Design and support case workflows, including parallel processing, locking strategies, flow actions, pre- and post-processing, and SLA handling.
• Work on data and integration components such as data pages, connector and service wizards, error handling, and background processing.
• Build medium-complexity user interfaces, including harnesses and portals.
• Create reports that combine multiple sources, associations, and joins.
• Use tools such as PDC, PAL, and log analysis to support performance investigation.
• Apply security controls such as role-based, attribute-based, and client-based access.
• Organize and manage case attachments effectively.
• Develop enterprise class structures, new applications, circumstance rules, rule resolution setups, rule availability, and multiple built-on applications.

Experience required

This position requires 5 to 10 years of relevant Pega development experience.
