Role Overview
The company is hiring an experienced and outcome-focused Manager/Sr. Manager in Performance Marketing to drive top-of-funnel growth through lead generation and digital brand visibility. The role owns the performance marketing function end to end, with a strong emphasis on delivering high ROI and supporting business goals.
What the role involves
- Own city-level digital lead generation targets in line with the annual operating plan and build strategies to improve ROI, lower CPA, and increase conversions.
- Plan and run performance campaigns that support brand objectives while keeping visual identity, messaging, and tone consistent across channels.
- Create and maintain KPI trackers and dashboards to monitor performance across all marketing channels.
- Partner with the broader marketing team to strengthen audience targeting and communication strategy.
- Work with content and design teams to develop effective ad creatives and landing pages.
- Track competitor activity and keep up with market and platform trends.
- Manage PPC activity across Google Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube, Performance Max, Meta platforms, and programmatic channels such as DV360 or other DSPs.
- Design and execute programmatic display and video campaigns, including audience segmentation, bidding approaches, and live performance review.
- Own keyword research, ad copy development, A/B experiments, and continuous campaign improvement.
- Improve the funnel from impressions to conversions using data-backed insights.
- Set up and manage conversion tracking, pixel implementation, and event tracking.
- Implement and troubleshoot Meta Pixel, Conversions API, GA4, and GTM to support a reliable tracking setup.
- Keep tracking and attribution privacy-compliant and accurate to improve signal quality.
- Strengthen measurement accuracy across platforms to support business decisions.
- Build, coach, and lead a high-performing performance marketing team.
- Coordinate with content, design, pre-sales, and field sales teams to improve messaging, landing pages, and campaign outcomes.
- Guide team members and help them perform at a high level.
- Manage marketing budgets carefully to ensure efficient spend and goal-oriented allocation.
- Analyze data to identify patterns, measure campaign impact, and turn findings into action.
- Create systems for gathering and reviewing data across teams so feedback loops remain effective.
- Use A/B testing, CRO methods, and advanced bidding strategies to improve campaign performance.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to stay ahead in digital marketing.
- Continuously monitor competitors and new developments in performance marketing.
What the company is looking for
- At least 6 years of experience in performance marketing and digital brand building, preferably in top-tier consumer startups.
- Minimum 4 years of experience leading strong digital marketing teams in the B2C environment.
- Strong command over Google Ads, Meta platforms, affiliates, and broader paid media ecosystems.
- Proven ability to scale B2C marketing programs and deliver measurable results.
- Excellent analytical ability with a hands-on, execution-first approach.
- Leadership skills to build, motivate, and manage high-performing teams.
- Graduation from a Tier 1 college.
- Practical experience with conversion tracking, pixel setup, event tracking, and paid campaign management across Google Ads, Facebook, YouTube, and related platforms.
- Working knowledge of A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on execution and outcomes.
Location
Preferred location is Gurgaon. Flexibility may be considered for exceptional candidates.
