Role Overview

The Porter is an on-site role focused on keeping the property clean, orderly, and visually appealing. The position supports daily groundskeeping and facility upkeep tasks as assigned by the supervisor, including trash removal, preparing waste for pickup, mopping, and cleaning assigned areas.

Key Duties

• Complete daily checklists and carry out assigned upkeep tasks.
• Keep the exterior of the property clean and maintain strong curb appeal.
• Help maintain landscaping between visits from outside vendors.
• Clean and sweep pool areas when needed.
• Set up and arrange property furniture as instructed.
• Mop and vacuum required areas every day.
• Ensure amenity spaces remain clean and welcoming throughout the day.
• Maintain product presentation in line with brand and company standards.

Work Conditions and Availability

• This is a full-shift, on-site position at the property.
• Availability is required for evenings, weekends, and overtime when needed.
• Additional support may be needed for move-outs, unit turns, and move-ins beyond standard full-time hours.
• The role requires regularly lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds, along with bending and stooping throughout the workday.

Preferred Profile

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills. Prior experience in maintenance or another skilled trade is preferred, and experience in student housing or multi-family housing is a plus.

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
