Role overview
This opportunity is posted for a partner organization that handles the application review and follow-up process. The employer is seeking a Product Data Analyst located in Germany.
You will join a highly data-fluent, technically capable product team as the primary analytics partner for product managers. The role is centered on exploring how users interact with the product, what drives activation and adoption, and where product changes can create the most value. It blends deep analytical work with strong product judgment, giving you a direct line into roadmap decisions, user experience improvements, and experimentation strategy. The environment is fast-moving and collaborative, with a strong focus on product growth, user engagement, and data-informed decision-making.
What you'll do
- Serve as the main analytics partner for product managers, helping them analyze product usage, customer behavior, and feature performance in depth.
- Study activation, onboarding, adoption, retention, and expansion trends to uncover the main drivers behind user behavior.
- Produce insights that cut across products and customer segments to provide a wider view than single-squad reporting.
- Work with product managers to shape hypotheses and define analysis plans that test product ideas and decisions.
- Support roadmap prioritization with clear, evidence-based recommendations on what to build, refine, or defer.
- Plan, assess, and interpret A/B tests and other experiments with statistical discipline and practical business outcomes in mind.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on tracking logic, event design, and improvements to data reliability.
- Proactively look for valuable analysis opportunities and bring forward findings without waiting for a request.
- Turn complex analytical work into structured, easy-to-follow stories that help teams make decisions.
- Help raise the bar for analytics practices, experimentation methods, and measurement standards across the product organization.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate brings substantial experience in product analytics or data analysis within B2B SaaS, preferably in a product-led growth setting. Strong SQL capability is essential, along with comfort working in modern analytics environments such as BigQuery, dbt, and Metabase or similar tools.
You should have a solid command of statistical thinking, including hypothesis testing, bias awareness, and experimental design. Experience building, running, and evaluating A/B tests is important, as is the ability to define event-tracking structures and work closely with engineering on instrumentation.
We are looking for someone who can independently spot high-value analysis opportunities, carry them through to completion, and communicate findings in a concise, decision-ready way. Product intuition, behavioral segmentation, cohort analysis, and advanced retention modeling are all important parts of the role. Python experience for analysis is a bonus, and familiarity with causal inference methods or experimentation platforms such as GrowthBook, Statsig, or Eppo is an advantage. Experience with technical or developer-facing products is also a strong plus.
Benefits and perks
- Market-aligned compensation package.
- Equity participation in the company.
- Fully remote-first setup with flexibility across Europe.
- Vacation allowance that can reach up to 30 days in Europe depending on location.
- Annual budget for learning and development, including courses, books, events, or coaching.
- Unlimited budget for AI tools to improve productivity and experimentation.
- A culture built around transparency, autonomy, and high ownership.
- Regular hackathons and collaborative innovation initiatives.
- Close collaboration with highly technical product teams.
- Exposure to one of Europe’s fastest-growing open-source and automation platforms.
- Remote-friendly collaboration with periodic team offsites and international teamwork.
