Organization Overview

Arctic Energy Alliance (AEA) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1997 and staffed by more than 20 employees. The organization operates from offices in Inuvik, Norman Wells, Fort Simpson, Whati, Hay River, and Yellowknife.

Role Summary

AEA is hiring a permanent, full-time Project Coordinator to work closely with the Executive Director and the wider team. The position focuses on helping NWT individuals, businesses, institutions, and communities take practical steps that lower energy costs and cut greenhouse-gas emissions linked to energy use.

The main purpose of the role is to support the delivery of AEA projects and programs, while helping project and program leaders complete work successfully, on schedule, and within budget.

Work Location and Travel

The office location will be determined within an AEA office. The role requires travel to communities across the Northwest Territories, including travel by air and, where needed, winter road.

Compensation and Benefits

AEA states that it provides a competitive salary. Permanent staff are eligible for a benefits package that includes a defined contribution registered pension plan, group insurance coverage, and annual professional development support.
