Project Delivery Engineer

About the Role

Elusav Recruitment is seeking a Projects Delivery Engineer for a prominent Engineering and Technical Services Contractor specializing in water and wastewater treatment. This role involves supporting and managing a wide array of design projects, encompassing both new (greenfield) and existing (brownfield) developments, alongside contributing to preconstruction and proposal efforts. The position is within the company's contracting division, which also manages extensive service contracts for Ireland's largest wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), where most projects are executed. Reporting to Senior Project Managers, the Projects Delivery Engineer will contribute to the successful delivery of significant projects valued up to €40 Million. Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive documentation, including reports, drawings, calculations, specifications, tender documents, and particular specifications.
• Create project budgets and detailed, resource-loaded work programs.
• Coordinate effectively with the Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS), Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP), clients, operations teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Provide expert technical advice and guidance.
• Contribute to bid processes and manage selected projects.
• Oversee and manage contractors.
• Address and respond to client requests for information promptly.
• Prepare and/or review Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Identify operational interfaces, potential impacts, consequences, and develop work-around strategies, ensuring operational tasks are executed within appropriate timeframes.
• Support maintenance operations by managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractors.
• Identify and prioritize capital maintenance projects based on equipment condition and criticality.

Requirements

• Possess a strong understanding of project planning, monitoring, and control methodologies.
• Demonstrate the ability to assess equipment risks and criticality.
• Have experience in design across all stages, from initial feasibility studies to final construction-ready designs.
• Maintain extensive technical knowledge of design aspects impacting technical, budgetary, and schedule considerations.
• A PRINCE2 or PMP qualification, or experience within a PRINCE2/PMP structured project environment, is highly desirable.
