About the Role

Yahoo is looking for a Salesforce Engineer to join its Monetization Sales Tools team and help shape the systems that support revenue growth and client success. The team creates and improves Salesforce-based sales enablement tools that help sales and B2B teams build stronger client relationships and deliver advanced digital media solutions.

This role sits in a highly collaborative environment where you will work with sales, marketing, and operations partners to support strategic client needs and strengthen Yahoo’s media network. The work is focused on efficiency, innovation, and data-driven outcomes, with opportunities to influence technical direction in Yahoo’s digital advertising business.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, configure, and roll out scalable Salesforce solutions with a focus on clean code and automation that go beyond basic task handling.
• Create and support custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and advanced Flow orchestration.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding speed and unit test creation within the software development lifecycle.
• Review AI-generated code and configurations carefully to confirm accuracy and compliance with Yahoo security expectations.
• Convert business stories and functional needs into clear technical designs that follow Salesforce best practices.
• Work closely with Product, UI/UX, and senior engineering stakeholders to validate technical feasibility and roadmap alignment.
• Track platform behavior, spot performance patterns, and refine solutions to improve operational results.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience working on B2B enterprise Salesforce CRM as a developer or engineer, with a record of delivering reliable, scalable solutions.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Apex, including triggers, classes, asynchronous processing, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Good understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security and sharing model, visibility rules, and governor limits.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments and handling sprint-based technical delivery.
• Ability to work independently in complex situations while producing production-ready work of high quality.

Preferred Experience

• Salesforce Platform Developer II or App Builder certification.
• Exposure to or interest in Agentforce, prompt engineering, or building custom agents for business use cases.
• Experience bringing AI-enabled workflows into business processes to improve productivity.
• Comfort working with teams across multiple time zones in a global engineering setup.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern development platforms such as GitHub, Copado, or Gearset.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is €58,950 to €98,250. Compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience. The package may also include discretionary annual bonus or commission opportunities. Benefits include healthcare, pension, and a flexible package that can be tailored to individual needs.

Work Arrangement

This role is based in Ireland. Yahoo uses a flexible hybrid working model, and most roles do not require a fixed pattern of regular office attendance. You may occasionally be asked to attend on-site work sessions, team-building activities, or other in-person events, with advance notice provided to help you plan.
